The Icynene Insulation System® is an
expanding soft foam product that insulates
and air seals at the same time.
Available for spray application or as a
pourable foam, Icynene® expands and cures
in minutes. As it expands, it forces its
way into every corner and crevice completely
filling the cavity to create its own
continuous air barrier.
Icynene’s gap-free foam virtually eliminates the need for any detailed special air seal or air barrier treatment such as building wraps (subject to local building codes). A consistent, comfortable temperature is maintained inside, and the cold is kept outside.
Due to its on-site, custom application and air sealing ability, The Icynene Insulation System® allows for greater freedom in project design. Quality control problems during construction are a thing of the past, since foam is custom-applied to every building. Icynene® simplifies detailing and construction methods, while delivering superior performance. Icynene® eliminates cold corners, walls and floors over unheated spaces and delivers better overall comfort and even temperatures throughout the building.
